What is delegation on the Bittensor Network?

Delegation allows holders of tao to earn emissions by staking the tao with one or more validators.

How do I delegate my TAO?

If you have a PolkadotJS wallet, you can use taostats to safely delegate and undelegate your tao. The Bittensor command line tool can also be used btcli root delegate

Are there restrictions to delegation?

The minimum delegation is 0.1 tao. Each coldkey/ hotkey pair can make ONE transaction per 360 blocks(approximately 72 minutes.)

Is delegation safe?

Yes. Your delegated tao never leaves your wallet. It is connected via a hotkey to the validator, and you are in full control of the account at all times.

Who should I delegate my tao with?

You’ll have to do your own research: But we are partial to taostats and Corcel.
